Meet the Artist
Elise works in gouache at a narrow desk under a north-facing window, usually with cold tea beside her. Every bookmark is made and painted by hand to match the world of its box — a character from the chosen fantasy novel, a figure from the autumn tale, a motif that belongs to that story alone. No two boxes share the same mark.
When an edition is gone, it is gone. We think that is part of the pleasure: the bookmark in your box marks a season as much as a page.

We believe a book is not a product — it is an hour of quiet, a change of light, a reason to close the laptop. Every box is wrapped with that hour in mind.
What comes next
The boxes are the beginning. We are slowly building towards a small independent bookshop and coffee house — a room with worn armchairs and low lamps, holding book clubs, author evenings, printmaking workshops and community suppers. Subscribers hear first, and get the first seats.
